Ultima Online Summer of Good and Evil

Just received word from EA/Mythic via their UO Newsletter that the expansion Ultima Online expansion: Stygian Abyss is dropping in price to $19.99.  New players can purchase the expansion plus 30 days of gametime for $29.99.

New players will also get a fairly decent head start when they create non-trial accounts.  New players will receive a New Player Token that will give them 20,000 gold, a premium armor set, weapons, and increased skill gain for all venturing party members.  Sweet!

EA/Mythic has also updated the templates for the Advanced Character tokens to make them more appealing to veteran players.  As a veteran player, if you join a group with new players will receive escalated skill advancement as well.

Also announced was the upcoming Test Center update that will include Arenas to help improve the PvP aspect of UO.
