Since last Tuesday, I’ve been trying to download the StarCraft 2 game client via digital download. Instead, all I got were error messages and vague problem detected messages. Every time I would get one of these messages, the client would be discontinued and I would be required to restart the 12GB download. As a result, I had to schlep to the local GameStop and pick up a copy. And this was not even on at the Midnight Release party last night. Right now, the game is downloading on my computer so I can’t really give any initial impressions yet. But I can say that the installer is giving a rather comprehensive synopsis of the StarCraft story from the previous games.
As soon as I play through some campaign missions, I’ll give some initial impressions about my thoughts on the story, the new characters, and Jim Raynor’s new, edgier than a knife collection look.

World-Gaming Network is a gaming website for gamers by gamers. With a no nonsense approach to news, reviews and previews, from people who will tell you like it is, as your friend. There are many sites that will give you news/reviews/previews but none that will give them to you like one of your friends. Founded over 9 years ago by two gamers that were born with a controller in their hand, we have come to realize that there are no gaming websites that take this approach. We give you the World-Gaming Network, your friend in the business.
