Exodus at Infinity Ward - Goodbye Modern Warfare

Unless you've been living under a rock for the last couple of weeks you've probably heard that Jason West and Vincent Zampella have been fired from Infinity Ward in the beginning of March for "insubordination.". Of course the mess doesn't end there as the two that were fired filed suit against Activision who of course filed a counter-suit against the two for delaying Modern Warfare 3 while they re-negotiated their contracts and looked for a new home.

Thinks are seemingly getting worse for the Call of Duty franchise as Jon Shirling, programmer for Infinity Ward for nearly six years, and Mackey McCandish, designer at Infinity Ward for nearly eight years, have left Infinity Ward.

This all comes as Jason West and Vincent Zampella take the reins at Respawwn Entertainment and have inked an unknown deal with Electronic Arts.

Is this the end of Modern Warfare as we know it? Is this the start of where we look back and say "Remember when Modern Warfare was amazing?". I hope not!
