Nintendo President, Satoru Iwata, has stated that the Nintendo 3DS will have an On/Off switch for 3D that will allow games to be played in 2D or 3D. This will be especially helpful for those who are worried about possible health risks and how it may effect the eyes.
If you don't remember, The Nintendo 3DS is the next handheld system from Nintendo that will be fully announced at E3 in June and with a release date of first quarter of 2011.
What does this mean for the games themselves? Will the Nintendo 3DS just be a gimmick and have no software support? Will games have to run in both 2D and 3D? Do the developers have to make two versions of the game fit on one cart? Lot's of questions that won't be answered till this years E3.
