Nintendo just released firmware 1.4.1 for the Nintendo DSi. According to the firmware notes, here is what changed with this firmware:
Nintendo DSi Menu Ver 1.4.1U
+ This update provides behind-the-scenes improvements to system performance.
So you want to know what it really does? It blocks flash carts. Acekard 2i and Supercard DSTwo are two confirmed flash carts that no longer work in a Nintendo DSi running this firmware. So if you are into the homebrew scene, it's advised you don't update at this point.
Also, I'm hearing reports of the update server being bogged down with people getting the "Error Code: 034302" error message. Just keep trying if you really want the update...eventually it will go through.
