CES 2011: Microsoft Keynote

CES 2011 is now in full swing and Microsoft is set to kick off their CES 2011 Keynote at 9:30PM EST / 6:30PM PST. 9:25 PM EST - Keynote starts in 5 minutes.

9:47 PM EST - After a "brief" introduction from Gary Shapiro, Steve Ballmer, Microsoft's CEO, takes the stage.

9:48 PM EST - Ballmer thanks all of us for their money.... errr support. Talks about Kinect, Bing, Windows 7, Windows Phone 7 growth.

9:50 PM EST - Ballmer is now talking about how incredible Xbox 360 has been, the launch of the Kinect and the Xbox 360 S. Now we are watching a video about Kinect. Thanks I have one. NEXT!

9:53 PM EST - Ron Forbes takes the stage to show us whats coming to Xbox 360 and Kinect in 2011. First stop Zune using Kinect and voicecontrol. Zune with Kinect is friggin easy, Why isn't Netflix this easy damnit!! Full swipe control. awesome.

9:57 PM EST - haha And now he is talking about Netflix. Netflix, this spring, Kinect is coming to Netflix.  YEA!!!!  Just as amazing as Zune. Oh snap! Hulu Plus as well.

10:04 PM EST - 30 Million Xbox LIVE members, New members sign up every 2 minutes. Wow. Microsoft sold over 8 million Kinect sensors worldwide.

10:06 PM EST - Fable Coin Golf, an exclusive, announced for Windows Phone 7. Full LIVE support. Other games include Pac-Man, Poker,Fruit Ninja, Parachute Panic, Tetris, Game Room, Assassin's Creed, Monopoly, Pocket God, Zombie Attack 2, Butterfly, PES 2011, The Sims 3, Need for Speed Undercover, Star Wars: Cantina, Avatar Gadgets, and much more. Lot's of great stuff coming out for Windows Phone 7 with full Xbox LIVE support.

10:09 PM EST - Windows Phone 7 stuff. Not much about gaming. Windows Phone 7 coming to Sprint and Verizon the first half of 2011.

10:13 PM EST - Liz Sloan takes the stage to demonstrate the Windows Phone 7. She's annoying... I miss Steve Jobs.

10:15 PM EST - Seriously Apple I love my iPhone but get your shit together, this phone can do everything. I really like the Windows Phone 7. Windows Phone 7 and iOS for the win, suck it Android!

10:17 PM EST -  I would love to see Ninja Steve Jobs come out and shuriken her ass.

10:22 PM EST - Windows PC. Hotmail is still the biggest email service on the net and has full integrated Office into Hotmail.

10:26 PM EST - Mike Angiulo has taken the stage to talk about their latest Windows PC wares.

10:27 PM EST - Showing off Internet Explorer 9 and it's GPU utilization features.

10:28 PM EST - Acer dual screen PC.. No keyboard, two screens. Bad ass! Also showing off a Samsung Slide PC. No fans, small and a tablet that can "slide" out a keyboard. Pretty cool stuff.

10:30 PM EST - Also showing tablet pc using Ink. Capacitive tablet with palm cancellation technology. Has multiple ports like HDMI, MicroSD.

10:32 PM EST - Microsoft Surface. MS worked hand to hand with Samsung. Oh shit they said it's Magical. Apple Lawyers have been dispatched. Stand by Mike. Wow, Microsoft Surface is amazing, uses Pixel sense and each pixel is like a camera. The demo unit is really thin and used Gorilla Glass. This thing is absolutely ridiculous. I want five.

10:35 PM EST - Steve is back... Next Windows will support, System on a Chip. NVIDIA, Qualcomm, ARM, Texas Instruments and AMD are on board.

10:38 PM EST - Mike is back to discuss System on a Chip and showing off pre-production models. Showing the new version of Windows with the CURRENT user interface.

10:40 PM EST - Windows running on ARM system, Snapdragon. Windows is about to take over the world...again. SoC is really cool. Looking forward to seeing this in production.
