Alan Wake lands Time's Game of the Year award

Wow, this kinda came out of nowhere.  Alan Wake has gotten Time's Game of the Year award.  The game received generally mixed reviews, and pulled an 83% on Game Rankings and an 83 on Metacritic.  Wouldn't have been my top game, that's for sure.

Here is the top 10 games of 2010 according to Time.
