Just received the Nintendo Club Newsletter. Here is what is happening this month at Nintendo :

First, we saw the release of Disney Epic Mickey. The classic cartoon known the world over is back in this adventure of epic proportions. Super Mario All-Stars - the 25th Anniversary re-release for the Wii of four classic Mario games in a limited edition 25th anniversary box, which includes a CD soundtrack and history booklet is now available. Its $29.99 and includes Super Mario Bros. Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros 3, and Super Mario Bros., The Lost Levels. Further More, to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of Super Mario Bros. Nintendo has released a special Limited Edition Nintendo DSi with Mario Kart DS. This lovely Mario red colored device is $179,99, features a special "SUPER MARIO BROS. 25th Anniversary" logo on the front is just cool looking. Get yours from the Nintendo site while they are available!

Also new this month for the Wii is Michael Jackson : The Experience. Become the King of Pop in this dance game, and relive some of the greatest performances in his life. You can now download select demos of WiiWare Games from the Wii Shop Channel under "New WiiWare Demos." Each demo is only available for a limited time, and new demos are released Mondays, so get them while they are hot. Currently, you can download demos for Fluidity, a physics-puzzler where you use the Wii remote to guide various forms of water on a voyage through Aquaticus. Also available for demo, And Yet It Moves, another physics based platformer in where you run and jump through a world which is made of paper. Rotate your universe in all directions to help solve the mind-bending physics challenges. Beware, as you shift your worlds orientation, objects which were once on the floor become falling dangers! Let your Wii remote to all the magic.

Other titles available in Demo version from the Wii Shop Channel : Bit.Trip Fate, a retro-arcade side-scroller, Jett Rocket, ThruSpace and Cave Story.

Jam Space: PocketStudio

Jam Space: PocketStudio from HB Studios is a Music composition app. Players put the power of a recording studio on their DSi to compose tracks and put music ideas down, no matter where you are. This is really lets you put down your musical ideas whenever a moment of inspiration arises. Use "quick jam" mode, which lets you record brief melodies easily using the instrument interface. "Studio" mode lets you access a full-feature MIDI editor to really put together a full musical piece.

DARIUS TWIN

DARIUS TWIN, for the Wii Virtual Console, was originally released on the SNES in 1991 by Taito. It falls into the two-player third-person shooter category and is a 2D side scroller, taking players through a range of levels of fighting action destroying the minions of Belser, the evil overlord of an empire that has rained terror over the galaxy for millennia. The Galactic Federation has called on you to save the galaxy. Are you up to it?

Capcom's Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective came to the Nintendo Channel this Monday. You wouldn't have known until last night because, for some unknown reason, Capcom hadn't troubled anyone with the announcement of its release.

Turn on your Wii and load the Nintendo Channel to grab the demo and download it to your DS system.

I love when developers release behind the scenes videos for their games. It really shows what kind of passion and hard work went into making their game. Disney Interactive Studios just uploaded a new video entitled Disney Epic Mickey -- Behind the Scenes Video: Designing the World. Definitely a really cool video.
