Top Hand Rodeo Tour Announced

There's a new rodeo hand in town, and this town ain't big enough for all of 'em! SFC Rodeo Games just announced this brand-new rodeo game for the PSN and Playstation Move that actually sounds like it's making original use of motion control capabilities. Sounds like a lot more fun than Kinect Sports at least. Check out the press release below.

Montgomery, Texas- September 1, 2010- SFC Rodeo Games, a new independent publisher based in Texas, announced today its in-development title, Top Hand Rodeo Tour. Developed by Perpetual FX, Top Hand Rodeo Tour is coming exclusively to PlayStation®Network this fall. Utilizing Emergent’s award-winning Gamebryo® LightSpeed® engine, Top Hand Rodeo Tour will look and play like no other rodeo videogame ever made.

Based on founders Woody Addison and Tracey Cearley’s passion for competitive rodeo sports, Top Hand Rodeo Tour will be the first rodeo title on PSN. The game features use of the PlayStation Move motion controller to bring all the rodeo action to life, including events like Team Roping, Barrel Racing, Tie-down Roping and many more.

“Our vision is to take the renowned sport of rodeo and turn it into an action packed game the whole family is sure to love,” said Addison, founding partner of SFC Rodeo Games. “We want to bring the sport to the masses by allowing players from every walk of life to have an interactive and fulfilling experience of competing in an ultra-realistic rodeo without ever leaving home.”

Top Hand Rodeo Tour will challenge players to work their way up through the pro rodeo circuit. Roping ‘n riding against the pros through a variety of events, would-be cowboys will have their mettle tested in their bid for the ultimate prize, the big belt buckle and the coveted title of Top Hand!
