As we originally posted a few months back, Telltale Games is developing a Back to the Future game for Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. Today, in a USAToday some more details have emerged about the upcoming title.
Telltale Games has confirmed that the game would take place during the 1985 timeline and would include an appearance of the DeLorean (I'd hope so) and the town of Hill Valley. Other characters, which were unnamed would crop up from the movies. The plot is still in the process of being fleshed out and is being worked on by Bob Gale who wrote the screenplays for the three movies. Steven Spielberg is also said to be one of the executive producers, so needless to say with Bob Gale and Steven Spielberg the franchise is in good hands.
Telltale Games is set to create five "episodes" which will include the likenesses of Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly and Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown. Christropher Lloyd is signed on to reprise the role of Doc Brown, as a voice that is.
Back to the Future is set to be released for Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network with no confirmed release date set.
