Bio: As a first-grader in '85, I got the chance to use my first computer- the Apple IIGS- in hindsight, one of those "defining moments" in my life. Since, played an extensive list of games and systems, Intellivision, Commodore 64, Ataris and Amiga's, every Nintendo console ever made. I've always been hooked on Nintendo, and never bothered with the other consoles since NES came out. However, PC is really where my loyalties are. Rather than burning my cash on a never-ending collection of console games, I put it into new PC hardware, and as a result, I've built a whole lot of gaming systems over the years. My PC gaming experience goes back to my parent's first PC - a Radio Shack TANDY, and my first PC game I can recall was 688 Attack Sub (a freeware demo version). I started a BBS in High-School back in the pre-web days, primarily to play rudimentary online games (they were all text-based) and chat with locals, and met some of my best friends via this early form of social networking and gaming. Now, I play complex strategy games like SimCity 4 and Civilization V and MMO's like Everquest 2, and I've met some very interesting folks doing it. I've learned that people from all walks of life are gamers, and believe it is a great way to socialize and spend time with people, as was as being a great way to be entertained.

Favorite Games: Mario (Mario 3 is a favorite), Dragon Warrior (NES), Zelda (All, except wasn't big on Zelda 2 for NES), Sim City, Civilization, Everquest 2, Mechwarriors 2, DOOM, Simpsons Hit & Run

Favorite Genres: Role-Playing Games, Strategy, MMORPGs, FPS

About Us

World-Gaming Network is a gaming website for gamers by gamers. With a no nonsense approach to news, reviews and previews, from people who will tell you like it is, as your friend. There are many sites that will give you news/reviews/previews but none that will give them to you like one of your friends. Founded over 9 years ago by two gamers that were born with a controller in their hand, we have come to realize that there are no gaming websites that take this approach. We give you the World-Gaming Network, your friend in the business.
