Office Heroes, a free upcoming social game developed by Astro Ape Studios, will be released later this July. Office Heroes will be available for the iPhone and iPod Touch and allows players to experience all the perks of climbing the corporate ladder without having to deal with any of the downsides of real corporate life, including but not limited to being mistreated, losing all semblance of self-respect, and being bored out of your mind from Monday through Friday, nine to five. In other words, Office Heroes makes corporate life fun!

In order to climb the corporate ladder in Office Heroes, players must complete a variety of typical workday tasks, such as updating your resume, watching movies, shopping online, making copies, blogging, tweeting, playing solitaire, gossiping, and tons of productive activities that greatly further the goals of the corporation. Completing these tasks earns the players career points that allow them to decorate and expand your dream office.

Office Heroes will also feature massive customization options, including over two hundred objects for creating the ideal custom office. Customization features will also allow players to select an office Pirate or Ninja, another thing that would never happen at a real corporate job. Paperclips will be the form of virtual currency in the office. These paperclips will allow players to purchase exclusive customized objects and will also allow them to sell back unwanted ones. Office Heroes will also have the ability to connect to Facebook in order to invite friends, visit friends’ virtual offices, message friends, and help friends with their mundane corporate tasks.
