You may have heard a little announcement about some new phones called the iPhone 4, something you may have missed was that Guitar Hero and Farmville, by Zynga, is coming to the iPhone in late June. Farmville is one of the more popular flash based games available on Facebook with 80+ players. Being that Apple has disowned Flash for their devices, many iPhone and iPad users have been unable to update their farms while away from their desktops. No word was given whether or not this will link with the Facebook Farmville or will be a standalone game.
CEO of Zynga, Mark Pincus, announced that Farmville would be coming during the WWDC keynote in San Francisco today and said that the iPhone/iPad version will use in-app purchases to get cash and coins to purchase things like seeds, animals, buildings, decorations, and vehicles.
This is great... I can't wait to get a push notification from Steve Jobs asking for more planks of wood for his barn. *sigh*

If you can't get enough Zombies these days, Activision has just released Call of Duty: World at War Zombies 2 for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Available now on the iTunes Store for $9.99 and as an In-App purchase for $4.99 for those who have already purchased Zombies 1. Zombies II brings new playable characters like Tank Dempsey (US), Takeo Masaki (Japan), Nikolai Belinski (USSR) and the infamous Dr. Edward Richtofen (German). Other new additions are weapons like the Wunderwaffe DG-2, Hellhounds, New Zombie Traps, and 20 new achievements. Zombies II takes place in a Zombie Swamp which is a port of the Shi No Numa map from the console version of Call of Duty: World at War.

Square Enix recently launched two new titles for the Apple iPad. Wanna view Finally Fantasy XIII pictures in 3D? Well there's an app for that (sorry). More importantly there is a new 3D game called Chocobo Panic. With Co-op and 2 player game-play, it allows up to 6 fingers to catch Chocobos. Fun fun fun!
Square Enix also confirmed that Chaos Rings and Crystal Defenders will be getting iPad updated in the future. Square Enix wouldn't commit to a release date though.

Remember when the iPad was just a pipe dream and everyone said what it should be and what it shouldn't? Remember when Steve Jobs, Apple CEO, came on stage to to announce this "magical" device and all the tech blogs and websites cried foul at how the iPad was just a larger iPhone lacking tons of features?
Remember when Apple said they sold 2 million devices to consumers? No? Well they just did!
Guess the iPad isn't so bad eh?
